"My family, some friends and I arrived in Lisbon on our first visit to Portugal. Andreia picked us up at the airport and she was wonderful. Her colleague Goncalo drove us to our next destination; Fatima. He was very kind, helpful and supportive. Creative problem solving with all of our bags : ) and just a great person. He was so good, that we asked him to drive us to Spain. Then France. Then Italy. He stayed with us during our entire European visit. And I must say that Bestourspt took good care of us. We will use them again in the future."

"Bestourspt was an absolute LIFESAVER for us after Storm Kristin almost derailed our trip. This review is long, but I think it will be helpful for anyone scanning Google (as I did) and trying to find businesses with real reviews from real people. Here is mine!During our final night in Lisbon, Storm Kristin blew through Portugal and caused major disruptions to highways and railways — thousands of trees were down. As a result, all trains from Lisbon were suspended, and we were told it could be days before service resumed. We were already at the train station with our luggage (and checked out of the hotel) when we found this out. We needed to reach Porto. I panicked and started Googling and asking ChatGPT for alternative ways to reach Porto (buses were an option, but everyone affected by the rail shutdown was also trying to take them). That’s when I found Bestourspt online. I didn’t have time to research extensively, so I took a chance and messaged the WhatsApp chat on their website. Within minutes, the owner, Nuno Correia, responded and told me he could arrange a driver and Mercedes van within the hour to take us to Porto (a 3–4 hour trip). He provided everything upfront: pricing, exact pickup location, electronic paperwork & information about the business — all clear and professional. I’m not someone who usually makes impulse decisions, but in this case I’m glad I did. I booked/paid immediately, and true to Nuno’s word, our driver and van arrived exactly one hour later. Once we were inside the van (which was exactly as advertised and perfect for an extended trip), I thought to myself, “Oh thank goodness!”Now…where shall I begin? António Calçada was our driver from Lisbon to Porto, and we truly could not have asked for a better experience. Sometimes while traveling, you meet someone who instantly feels familiar — deeply kind, genuine, and trustworthy — and António is exactly that. He is professional, attentive, and adapts to give his clients the type of road trip they want. Looking for some quiet time to sleep? That’s perfectly fine. Want to learn about the history and culture of the places you pass through? Hopefully so, because this is where António really shines! He has a tremendous amount of knowledge about Portugal, and his English is excellent. Because of the terrible storm the night before, many highways were closed and we had to take backroads through small towns (often with no cellular service). Luckily, António knew the way. Onward we went — around fallen trees and street signs — all the way to Porto. A few hours later, we arrived in great spirits and with a full list of recommendations for food, things to do, and sights to see. Our trip would continue! He even messaged us afterwards with recommendations for our next city. How funny…when I first thought about booking a taxi for a 3-4 hour drive (post-hurricane), I felt dread. Who would’ve thought it would become one of the highlights of our trip? In just one afternoon, we walked away with a lifetime friend. Thank you, António, for making the best of our storm-related circumstances and turning a stressful situation into a wonderful experience. We will see you again one day!"
