SEE MORE Day 1 – The day begins with a visit to the Miradouro de Nossa Senhora do Monte, the highest natural point in the city of Lisbon, then we pass through Alfama, Lisbon's historic district. After visiting the Lisbon Cathedral, then on foot you will visit Praça do Comércio, one of the most beautiful squares in Europe, open to the south to the immense Tagus estuary. Until the era of air transport, it was Lisbon's great reception room for those who came by boat and could thus enjoy its beauty even better. This was the pier where the Kings and Heads of State who visited Portugal disembarked. Still on foot, visit Rua Augusta, an open-air shopping area that ends at Praça D. Pedro IV, where we will meet and then head south. After crossing the 25th of April bridge, we visit Cristo Rei, a sanctuary with a privileged view of the city of Lisbon. After the visit we will go to the Serra da Arrábida, a nature reserve located about 40 km from Lisbon. You can take a boat trip along the cliffs of Arrábida and admire the beautiful views of the Atlantic Ocean. The day ends in Troia, a peninsula belonging to the Municipality of Grândola.
